Summer Sonic 2026: Filipino acts BINI, SB19, Ena Mori’s stages revealed

May 19 ------ BINI, SB19, and Ena Mori will raise the Philippine flag at Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026 festival, with the P-pop powerhouse groups confirmed to perform at its Osaka and Tokyo legs.
The Japan-based music festival announced the schedule and stages for the upcoming event on Instagram on Friday, May 15, including the dates and venues of the Filipino acts. This year’s Summer Sonic will be held from August 14 to 16 at Osaka’s Expo’70 Commemorative Park and Tokyo’s ZozoMarine Stadium & Makuhari Messe.
BINI will perform at the Mountain Stage on August 14 in Osaka, then on the 16th in Tokyo. The Mountain Stage is the second-biggest venue in the festival. SB19 will take the Massive Stage in Osaka on August 14, then head to the Pacific Stage in Tokyo the following day. Meanwhile, Mori will stage her set at the Beach Stage in Tokyo on August 14.
Other international acts performing at this year’s Summer Sonic are Jennie, Ado, Audrey Nuna, LE SSERAFIM, Alex Warren, Keshi, BabyMonster, AKMU, David Byrne, TWS, and The Strokes, among others. Summer Sonic is an annual music festival usually held in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, and often scheduled for a specific weekend in August. It is often attended by Japanese and international artists who have gained significant attention in the global music scene, and particularly those with a dedicated fan base.
The festival is among the activities that BINI has in store for their fans (or Blooms) for the rest of the year. Their upcoming appearance comes after their historic Coachella debut, as well as their Global Force award at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony. The female octet is composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena. Some of their hit songs include “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “I Feel Good,” “Lagi,” and “Cherry on Top.”
SB19, who made history as the first Filipino homegrown act to perform at Lollapalooza, consists of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. Their hit songs include “Gento,” “Mapa,” “DAM,” “DUNGKA!”, and “Bazinga.” Meanwhile, Ena Mori is a Filipina-Japanese singer-songwriter known for incorporating both her heritages into her music and concepts.
