Nico Antonio, Luke Jickain among passers of 2025 Bar Exam

January 8 ------ Celebrities Nico Antonio and Luke Jickain were among those who officially became lawyers after passing the 2025 Bar Exam. A total of 5,594 examinees passed the exam, with the results released.

On his Instagram Stories, Antonio shared a post from Quantum Films featuring an art card congratulating him on passing the Bar Exam. The post also included a screenshot of the list of Bar exam passers, showing the actor's real name "Jerico Alonso Antonio." Quantum Films is a co-producer of Antonio's recent film "Unmarry," an entry in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

In the film, which centers on a couple navigating an annulment, Antonio portrays a lawyer — an onscreen role he has now brought to real life. Meanwhile, the Facebook page of the film "Bar Boys," whose sequel was also an entry of the 2025 MMFF, congratulated Jickain for passing the exam. It revealed that Jickain was the basis for Joshua Zuñiga, a character from the film portrayed by Kean Cipriano.
