Asia Rose Simpson posts Top 3 finish at Miss World 2026 talent competition

August 27 ------ The Philippines’ Asia Rose Simpson displayed her talent in dance and choreography that landed her in the Top 3 of the talent fast-track challenge of Miss World 2026, just a week before the final competition in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
The 18-yer-old Filipino-American contemporary dance performer placed second runner-up to Miss England Grace Richardson, who topped the fast-track challenge, with Miss Guadeloupe Annaelle Ibo as first runner-up.
In a video posted by the Miss World Organization on social media, Simpson blended her dancing prowess with her gymnastic abilities in executing her original dance choreography that she called “Succor,” which she hoped would “shed light on the hope and healing we can have battling mental health.”
“Miss World Philippines, Asia Rose Simpson, delivered a powerful dance performance telling the story of feeling lost and finding her way through faith, earning third place in the Talent Competition at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World,” it stated in its post that Simpson also shared on her Instagram.
The teen beauty queen who is also a youth and mental health advocate wore a form-fitting cobalt blue-and-gold cut-out bodysuit designed by her sister during her interpretative dance routine. She also shared her post-performance interview wherein she said that the talent fast-track is one of her favorites in the entire competition. “I honestly didn’t know whether I was gonna make it in the Top 5 or Top 3… It was such an incredible honor. I was so shocked. I’m so happy and honored that I got to represent this God-given gifts. I got to represent my country and my family,” she said. “This is one of my favorite fast-tracks and so placing Top 3 is such a dream come true,” she added.
Simpson’s feat comes soon after she landed in the Top 40 of the pageant, and merited her entry into the Top 5 of the Asia and Oceania group.
The Miss World 2026 competition will culminate with a coronation show on September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam where Simpson and 110 other ladies will seek to succeed reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand. The ceremony will be streamed in real-time on the pageant’s official YouTube channel. Simpson will also hope to bag the Philippines’ second Miss World crown, after Megan Young in 2013.
