December 28 ------ Rock band My Chemical Romance (MCR) has announced the rescheduling of its highly anticipated concert in the Philippines following the postponement of its Asia tour dates for The Black Parade 2026 tour. The announcement was shared through the band’s official Instagram account, where they addressed fans across Southeast Asia and clarified that the affected shows would still push through.

The band was originally set to perform at the Philippine Arena on April 25, 2026. However, MCR revealed that the Asia leg of the tour will now take place in November 2026, stressing that the decision was a postponement rather than a cancellation. In their post, the band explained that all Southeast Asia dates would be moved later in the year, reassuring fans that their tickets would remain valid for the rescheduled shows. They also acknowledged that some fans may no longer be able to attend and confirmed that refunds would be made available. “We will be postponing our upcoming Southeast Asia dates until November 2026. These shows are not canceled!

All purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. However, if you cannot attend the rescheduled date, refunds will be available to you. Please see the info below for your specific market. We very much look forward to coming to see you all in November. All other shows for 2026 will continue as planned. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The other 2026 dates, which will go around the Americas and Europe will go on as planned,” part of their statement read. Following the announcement, MCR confirmed that the new date for The Black Parade 2026 tour in the Philippines is set for November 14, 2026, still at the Philippine Arena.

The Black Parade 2026 tour draws its name from the band’s third studio album, which includes some of their most well-known songs such as "Teenagers," "Dead!," "Cancer," "I Don't Love You”, and the album’s title track, many of which have been regularly performed on the tour.

Last June, they released the deluxe version of their 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. It was in 2008 when MCR last visited the Philippines when they held a concert at the former Bonifacio Global City Open Field.
