Miguel Tanfelix shows off directorial assignment

August 20 ------ 'Voltes V: Legacy' actor Miguel Tanfelix is not the star anymore but the director of an audio-visual work.

After several years of appearing on-cam, Miguel Tanfelix is ready to take on another venture, this time behind the camera.

On his Instagram account, the Voltes V: Legacy actor showed off his directorial assignment as he shared photos on the set of his project that took place on a beach. In multiple shots, Miguel is seen holding the camera himself. The post also bears an image of Miguel previewing a scene where a woman is embracing a man. "mini thesis," he captioned the post. He then quipped, "naks direk yern hahaha."

Miguel has been vocal about studying filmmaking. In an interview, he revealed that his love for filmmaking started when he was doing GMA-Quantum Films series What We Could Be. He shared, "Na-discover ko na mahilig akong makipag-usap sa direktor, sa DOP, sa cameraman natin kasi ayaw ko lang makita 'yung set natin sa perspective ng aktor. "If gusto ko maging direktor in the future, kailangan ko ring makita 'yung mga perspective ng mga tao behind the camera and nag-e-enjoy ako na matuto from them. "Na-discover ko na mas lumalim 'yung love ko sa filmmaking and, in the near future, mag-aaral ako ng film."
