Maja Salvador moving to TV5?

MANILA, Philippines, September 23 ------ Is Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador moving to TV5? In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Salvador expressed her gratitude to those who supported her during her stay in ABS-CBN. She then told her fans and followers: “Mga kapamilya, sasamahan ko po muna ang aking tatay na si. MR.M kaya sana wag po kayo magulat kung makikita niyo akong lumabas sa ibang network at patuloy makapagbigay ligaya sa inyo kahit sa anong paraan at plataporma.”

Mr. M is Johnny Manahan, veteran TV and live show director and ABS-CBN executive. In a Sept. 14 article published by ABS-CBN News, it was reported that Manahan is set to direct a new Sunday noontime show for TV5. The show will be hosted by Piolo Pascual and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. Salvador, meanwhile, urged her fans for their continued support. “Sana po ay tuloy tuloy niyo akong samahan at suportahan sa kahit anong landas na aking tatahakin. maraming salamat po,” she said.

After ABS-CBN’s franchise bid was denied by members of the House of Representatives’ committee on legislative franchises, many of the network’s talents have joined TV5, among them Pokwang and Jessy Mendiola. Pokwang now hosts “Chika BESH (Basta Everyday Super Happy)” with Ria Atayde and Pauleen Luna, as well as the game show “Fill in the Bank” with Jose Manalo. Mendiola, meanwhile, is the host of the lifestyle and fitness show “Fit for Life.”
