Liza Soberano credited as executive producer of thriller film ‘Imprint’

May 20 ------ Liza Soberano is continuing to expand her filmography after she was announced as the executive producer of the upcoming film “Imprint.”
Soberano’s new film project was reported by Rolling Stone on Friday, May 15, although it remains unknown if she will be the lead star. Said to be a thriller, “Imprint” tells the story of a Filipino-American woman with psychic powers who tracks down a serial killer. The film is directed by Marie Jamora, who has since been pursuing her filmmaking work in the US.
Soberano has been busy with her rising career in Hollywood, where she has been dabbling in film production on the side. Her upcoming film, “Forgotten Island,” in which she voices Raissa, is set to hit cinemas in September 2026. The animated film also stars H.E.R., Dave Franco, Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate, Lea Salonga, Jo Koy, and Dolly de Leon.
The “Dolce Amore” star recently appeared in the 2026 Gold Gala, where she and H.E.R. served as presenters in one of its segments. The gala honors celebrities of Asian descent who made a mark in the entertainment industry and other fields.
The actress was also confirmed to star in the animated series “Sun Chaser” and will reportedly appear in the film “Patron Saints of Nothing.”
