March 15 ------ Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada were crowned as the Star Magical Prom King & Queen, at the glitzy ABS-CBN event that serves as an introduction of its new-generation artists.
Ilacad and Estrada earned the top award after a public voting period that ultimately ranked them atop the list of candidates for Prom King & Queen. They succeeded Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, who were named prom king and queen in last year's prom. Earlier in the evening, Ilacad and Estrada also expressed excitement with attending their “first ever” prom.
Aside from Prom King & Queen, the Star Magical Prom also awarded the following Prince and Princess crowns.
Charming Prince and Princess: Raikko Mateo and Trisha Gomez
Noble Prince and Princess: Harvey Bautista and Dalia
Royal Prince and Princess: Mathew Cruz and Anji Salvacion
Recognition was also given to "promposals," such as that of Seth Fedelin’s promposal to Francine Diaz which bagged the most-viewed promposal video award, while Estrada’s promposal to Ilacad was named the Best Promposal.
