September 18 ------ Jessica sang “Golden Hour” by JVKE for her latest performance on “America’s Got Talent,” dressed in a form-fitting gown that showed her baby bump. The singer put her own spin on the song, showcasing her signature high notes and harmonies. Following the song, judge Sofia Vergara said she is “so proud that you’re my Golden Buzzer.” “Jessica, you get better and better. It’s perfection—your voice, your little belly, your story. There’s nothing I would change about you or how you do your singing. You’re amazing.”

Howie Mandel said that Jessica looked and sounded beautiful. However, he said that Jessica could have chosen another song. Mel B agreed that the song choice may not have affected everybody, but said Jessica’s vocals “were just magical.” “You have a range that’s very similar to Mariah Carey,” she said.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell said he “loved the song choice, genuinely.” “For me, it showed a different part of your voice. That’s what I call kind of a ‘moment performance.’” Cowell also praised Jessica for not giving up all these years. “And importantly, you are very, very likeable. Everyone I talk to is talking about you, how much they like you. I think we are gonna be seeing you next week.”

Asked by host Terry Crews how she is coping with the competition and her pregnancy, Jessica said, “This is so exciting. I just keep telling my baby, I’m like, ‘Please just stay there another week, god-willing, I make it to the finals. I’m just so blessed and grateful.”

Jessica made a grand comeback on the reality talent search in July, where she sang "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia Vergara. Earlier in September, she advanced to the semi-final round of the talent competition. Jessica first went on "America's Got Talent" when she was 10 and made it to the semi-finals. She rose to fame as the runner-up in "American Idol" Season 11. She recently released the single “Two Lines” about her pregnancy.
