September 5 ------ Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez is moving on to the semi-final rounds of "America's Got Talent" after she was voted by her fans in the United States. The result of the voting was announced on Wednesday night (US time) by the show's host Terry Crews with the audience and judges Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Mel B, and Howie Mandel clapping for her.

Sanchez was thankful to all her fans who voted for her so she could continue her "AGT" journey. "Oh, my gosh. I'm on cloud nine right now. Thank you so much, everybody, I appreciate it," Sanchez said. "You know what, Jessica, we've had a lot of singers on this show. There is, in my opinion, something special about you. And you come back next with the right song choice. I would say right now you are the one to beat," Cowell said when asked about his advice for Sanchez. "Well, I agree with everything he said. I think you're amazing. I'm just concerned that at this point in your life that you make it without giving birth," Mandel said.

For her first live performance for the show's quarterfinals on Tuesday, Sanchez wowed the audience and the judges with her powerful rendition of Alex Warren's "Ordinary," while eight months pregnant. Sanchez received the golden buzzer from Vergara for her performance of Benson Boone‘s “Beautiful Things” during the Auditions round. Sanchez, 29, was part of the hit show's first season, where she made it to the semi-finals.
