MANILA, August 7 ------ Away from the public eye, Atayde revealed she spent time working out which she described as a big help to her pregnancy journey. "I think the very thing is it helped the pregnancy. Yeah, I feel like if anything women are pregnant, it's something I would urge them to do, I try to work out at least five times a week," she said. "Girl, tabain ako kung hindi ako nagwo-work out, lalaki pa ako ng todo," she added jokingly. And just like other pregnant women, she also went through difficult stages during her first term. "I feel like everybody goes through the motions of that (morning sickness) basta there were so many things going on from the start, and I'm just glad that I passed the first phase and now you know, just wait," she said.
As she expects a baby boy soon, the actress was also asked how she prepares herself for motherhood. "Parang it's too early for me to tell. I want to base it on how things feel when the baby comes out. Of course, I wanna be hands-on," she said
Meanwhile, Atayde also thanked her friends for supporting her in her new journey as a soon-to-be mom. "I have a lot of people who's been very supportive throughout this journey and I think that's super important that I have a good support system," she said. Talking about the support system she had, she also mentioned one piece of advice she received from her mom, Sylvia Sanchez. "Ang dami kasi niyang sinasabi. Pero first of all breast feed so, yeah ayun. (Magiging padede mom ka?) I hope so, that's the goal," she said.
