August 19 ------ Sometimes, a person's passion discovers them early, as it did for Hannah Shayne, who began singing at the age of five. “Music has always been my safe place,” Hannah says. “It helped me feel understood and alive, especially when I couldn’t find the right words to say.” Inspired by Sarah Geronimo’s powerful voice and charisma, Hannah dreamed of making music that would touch people’s hearts, too.

Today, Hannah is more than just a young singer. She’s also a third-year Psychology student at Bulacan State University, juggling her studies while chasing her dream. Her journey took a big leap thanks to her mentor, Sir Nick Vera Perez, who helped her get her first break. “Sir Nick opened doors I never imagined,” she says. “He helped me release my first single, Bagong Simula, join a mall tour, and even try hosting.”

Hannah’s music journey began during a challenging time — the 2020 pandemic — when she joined NVP1World, a community that nurtured her talent. Her promise to herself is clear: to keep getting stronger, to stay kind, and to work hard — not just for herself, but for her parents and those who believe in her.

Looking to the future, Hannah dreams of living abroad, studying practical nursing, and gaining new experiences. “I want to keep music in my life, even if it’s just small shows or writing songs at night,” she says. In 10 years, she hopes to be stable, working in healthcare, making music, and using everything she’s learned to help others. With a heart full of gratitude and a voice full of hope, Hannah Shayne is ready to start her Bagong Simula — and the world is listening.
