Francine Diaz makes appearance at Asia Star Entertainer Awards

April 11 ------ Francine Diaz made an appearance at the first-ever Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) which was at the K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.

Diaz was in Japan to present an award at the star-studded ceremony, which was attended by Tomorrow X Together (or TXT), Treasure, Billlie, Day6, Kwon Yuri of Girls’ Generation, Ok Taecyeon of 2PM, Stray Kids, and The Boyz, among many others. The actress, who was among the celebrities who graced the red carpet, looked divine in a red tube gown by Anthony Ramirez, as recorded by fan account @carrelcites on X (formerly Twitter).

In her second ensemble of the night, Diaz was described as an actress “who is the most influential in the Philippines” where she presented the Global K-pop Leader award to TXT. Before presenting TXT’s award, Diaz gave a brief background of herself to the audience where she introduced herself as an “actress, model, vlogger, and a singer.” “Good evening, everyone. I am Francine Diaz. I am an actress from the Philippines. For starters, it’s an honor to be invited to [this awards ceremony] where music becomes one,” she said in her speech. “Actually, I am an actress, model, vlogger, and a singer.” The “Dirty Linen” star also shared her love for music while recalling her recent collaboration with South Korean actor-singer Seo In-guk. “I’m falling in love with music too. I recently sang a duet song called ‘My Love’ with Korean top star Seo In-guk. It’s a really special experience. While watching these amazing performances, I can’t help but dream of collaborating with them in the future,” she said.

In March, Diaz collaborated with Seo for the pop single “My Love,” which the latter said was created to suit the actress’ “bright personality.” Diaz shared a closer look at her ensembles on her Instagram account, where her red carpet look was pulled together by celebrity stylists Boop Yap and Kimi Yap, makeup artist RB Chanco, and hairstylist Justine Ocampo. Diaz was announced as a guest of the star-studded event on Monday, April 8. The first edition of the awards ceremony is organized by South Korean media outlets Newsen and Star1.
