F4's Van Ness Wu married Japanese singer Emi Aramaki - report

July 2 ------ Following his social media post which he opened up about his romantic life, the identity of Van Ness Wu's wife has been revealed.


The Straits Times reported that Taiwan's ETtoday identified the F4 member's wife as Japanese singer Emi Aramaki. The couple reportedly got married in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May. The report added that B'in Music, the label of Van Ness, confirmed Emi's marriage to the singer-actor to the media.


On Instagram on Monday, Van Ness shared that, aside from the many blessings he has received in his career this year, he has also been blessed with what he described as "the most important person" in his life. "Every good thing comes from above. 2026 has been filled with so many blessings. Being able to tour again with the boys, being able to do what I love on stage and perform for you all… and now being blessed with the most important person in my life," he revealed.


The post included a photo of two clasped hands, with one hand appearing to wear a large ring. "I'm truly so grateful to be able to share this love with all of you who have supported me throughout the years," he remarked. "May God bless each and every one of you with the same love and grace He has so generously shown me."


Among those who congratulated Van Ness was Ashin, his fellow performer in the F Forever 1st World Tour. On Instagram, the Mayday frontman wrote: "May today be the beginning of a beautiful forever @vannesswu." Emi is a singer from Fukuoka, Japan, who moved to the United Kingdom at the age of nine, according to Hillstone Enterprise. She studied History at University College London. After graduating, she embarked on her music career while dividing her time between Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles.


In July 2021, she released her city pop-inspired debut single, "Lonely Night." Van Ness was previously married to Singaporean entrepreneur Arissa Cheo. The two tied the knot in 2013 before finalizing their divorce in 2018. Van Ness alongside Ashin, Jerry Yan, and Vic Chou recently performed at the Philippine Arena for the F Forever 1st World Tour concert.


The concert featured some of F4's most iconic songs, including "Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni," "Yan Huo De Ji Jie," "Di Yi Shi Jian," and "Meteor Rain." Each member also took the stage for solo performances. Fans were also treated to new tracks such as "Forever Forever," co-created by Ashin and Mandopop superstar Jay Chou, as well as "Always Be My Bro," which was performed by all four artists. F4 first rose to prominence after starring in the hit Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, which first aired in the Philippines on ABS-CBN in May 2003. Van Ness played the role of Mei Zuo in the series.
