Demi Lovato gets engaged

July 24 ------ Less than four months since reports came out that she and actor Max Ehrich started dating, Demi Lovato said “yes” to spending the rest of her life with her boyfriend-turned-fiancé. Confirming her engagement to Max through an Instagram post, she shared a story from when she was a little child and how it eventually made sense now that she’s engaged with him.

“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his “little partner” - something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner,” she wrote. Demi went on to share what made Max the perfect man for her, saying she knew right from the start that he was the man whom she wants to spend the rest of her life with. She added that knowing Max accepted her flaws made her feel his unconditional love for her.

“I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. She added: “You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”

Sharing her excitement to start a family with “The Young and Restless” actor, she remarked: “I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!” According to a report by People, Max popped the question to Demi in Malibu, California and gave her a diamond ring by jeweler Peter Marco.
