Claudine Barretto honors Rico Yan on his 48th birthday

March 15 ------ Claudine Barretto continues to keep Rico Yan’s memories alive as she remembered the late actor on what would have been his 48th birthday.

The actress expressed her love and longing in her birthday greeting to Yan shown on her Instagram page. Barretto also showed a cake dedicated to him.

“Happy happy birthday in heaven, Ry. You will forever be missed, loved [and] remembered,” she said in the caption.

Yan’s sister Tina Marie as well as actor Ken Chan also honored the late actor via the comments section. Meanwhile, fans, delighted by Barretto’s greeting, admired the actress for remembering Yan on his special day. Rico was also greeted by his former co-actor and friend Marvin Agustin via the latter’s Instagram page.

Barretto and Yan became a love team in the late 1990s, which eventually evolved into a real-life romance. The two starred in the hit movies “Got 2 Believe” (2002), “Flames: The Movie” (1997) and “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita” (1998), among others.
