Charlie Puth tests positive for COVID-19: ‘I’m not feeling amazing’

December 17 ------ Charlie Puth has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Thursday. The “Attention” singer shared the update on Twitter, saying he received the positive result on the same day. “I tested positive for COVID this morning. I’m not feeling amazing but I think the worst is behind me," he said. “I write you this update, feeling like (a) complete ass, in hopes that you will be safe and careful this holiday season. Love you and I’ll speak to you very soon,” he wrote.

Just last September, Charlie participated in the 24-hour Global Citizen Live concert. Among the event’s goals was to raise awareness on climate change and have vaccines delivered all around the world. Charlie, who marked his 30th birthday just last December 2, is currently working on a new song called “Light Switch.” He plans to release it on New Year’s Day.
