March 23 ------ Nation’s girl group BINI announced that they are set to release a new extended play (EP) “Signals,” on April 9, a day before their highly anticipated Coachella performance.

The eight-member group announced the upcoming album during their send-off event last Saturday night, March 21, in Taguig City. “We’re ready to bring new music to a bigger stage,” said member Maloi. The group is set to make their historic debut at Coachella on April 10 and 17.

BINI also surprised Blooms with an additional announcement of their anniversary celebration concert, “BINI Signals,” in Manila and Cebu City. The Manila leg will be held on June 20 at the Mall of Asia Arena, while the group will also celebrate at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena on July 11.

During the send-off event, BINI expressed their gratitude to their fans and fellow artists for cheering them on ahead of their Coachella performance. “Bitbit-bitbit namin ’yung buong OPM industry, ’yung buong Pilipinas, lahat ng Blooms, kaya sobrang excited talaga kami as the first-ever girl group,” said Maloi.

Member Jhoanna, who expressed her hope that more OPM artists will soon grace the Coachella stage, turned emotional as they watched the compilation of video messages from their fellow artists. “Sobrang na-surprise kami. Hindi naging madali ‘yung researhal namin recently… Pero alam ko na magiging worth it lahat. Para kaming binuhusan ng confidence. Thank you po sa lahat ng bumati,” expressed Jhoanna.
