Alden Richards thanks Aldubnation on Kalyeserye’s 10th anniversary

July 18 ------ Alden Richards marked the 10th anniversary of “Eat Bulaga’s” “Kalyeserye” by penning a message of gratitude to the Aldubnation, the fandom of his former AlDub love team with Maine Mendoza. Despite no longer being part of the noontime show, Richards made sure to celebrate the milestone through his X (formerly Twitter) page. “Happy 10th… Forever in our hearts,” he wrote. “Thank you for the memories, ALDUBnation.”

In the studio, the TV hosts looked back on their key “Kalyeserye” moments, including when Richards and Mendoza’s segment roles first sparked “kilig” (thrill) among fans, and when they met face to face for the first time. “Iba ‘yung magic ng ‘Kalyeserye,'” Mendoza said, with her fellow hosts Allan K and Ryan Agoncillo underscoring how the segment earned the support of fans from all over the world. “Ang bilis! 10 years,” Mendoza further stated.

Days prior to this, Mendoza also celebrated the 10th anniversary of her first appearance on television as Yaya Dub.
