Alden Richards shares ‘proud moment’ as ‘Death March’ producer

November 29 ------ Alden Richards gave an update on the production of international film “Death March,” sharing with fans a “proud moment” he had with his fellow producer Marc Clebanoff. Richards showed Clebanoff and himself “watching the first movie edit come to life,” through his Instagram page. “Proud moments with my co-producer Marc Clebanoff as we bring this vision to the screen,” the actor said in the caption. “Film in the making.”

Richards is producing “Death March” through his company Myriad Corporation. The film, directed by Louis Mandylor, will star British actor Scott Adkins and Filipino actress Gabbi Garcia. It will also reportedly feature talents from the United States, Europe, Australia and Japan. While details on the cast and the storyline have yet to be revealed, Adkins shared last August that he would portray the role of British RAF Wing Commander James Wright who is captured by the Japanese during World War II.

Wright is “forced to fight in brutal hand to hand combat. The Japanese soldiers get more than they bargained for when Wright’s years of martial arts training in Hong Kong prove him to be a formidable opponent.” Garcia, for her part, will portray a Filipino nurse for war prisoners in the film.
