The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. Delivers the First Batch of IMO Model Course 3.12 Training



The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. completed the first delivery of IMO Model Course 3.12 (Training for Assessors) from 04 to 15 March 2019.


This course aims to teach attendees on the application of international standards concerning training, assessment, examination and certification of masters, officers and ratings of merchant vessels. As future assessors, trainees should be able to organize, administer and conduct assessments and examinations.


The 10-day training was attended by 19 participants from MARINA, PJMCC Member Manning Companies and IMMAJ-PJMCC Partner Training Providers. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Wenifredo G. Sola and Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro.

A simple graduation ceremony was held on the last day of training. Ms. Nora R. Acedera, Class President, opened the program while Mr. Warren B. Samonte, Class PRO, delivered his message of appreciation to the class and to the Foundation.


Finally, Mr. Sola and Capt. Gerry T. Chan, IMMAJ-PJMCC Training Coordinator, awarded Certificates of Attendance to all graduates.
