December 26 ------ Taylor Swift is spreading the joy this holiday season. Just in time for Christmas, the global superstar donated more than ₱117 million to charitable organizations including Feeding America, the American Heart Association, and MusiCares, all confirming her contributions on December 24 (PHT).

Feeding America, the largest non-profit hunger-relief organization in the U.S., shared the news on Instagram, posting a message from its CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot expressing gratitude for Taylor’s donation. “We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift's $1 million gift to Feeding America,” Babineaux-Fontenot wrote. "This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what's possible when we unite to end hunger. When we join together alongside people facing hunger, we can make sure families have a full table this holiday season and beyond," she added.

The organization also noted in the caption, “We’re grateful to @taylorswift for standing with families facing hunger. Her generosity reminds us what’s possible when we come together to help ensure full tables this holiday season and beyond.”

The American Heart Association also received $1 million from Taylor, a donation made in honor of her father, Scott Swift. According to a press release, the contribution will advance research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to life-saving care. The release highlighted that her father’s experience with cardiovascular disease earlier this year inspired the gift. In August, Taylor spoke about her dad’s quintuple bypass surgery during her debut on fiancé Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights.

Nancy Brown, CEO of the American Heart Association, praised Taylor’s support. “Taylor Swift’s remarkable generosity will create lasting change far beyond its financial value,” she said, noting that her contribution will raise awareness about heart health, strengthen prevention efforts, and ultimately help people live longer, healthier lives.

Meanwhile, MusiCares, the nonprofit founded by The Recording Academy to support the music community, also received a donation from Taylor, although the exact amount was not disclosed. In an Instagram post, the organization highlighted how her gift will aid programs, resources, and financial assistance for artists and music professionals. “A real legacy to leave: @MusiCares is thrilled to share that we’ve received a generous donation from @taylorswift, which will help support our vital programs, resources, & financial assistance for the music community in need. It takes a village to bring the music fans love to life, and Taylor's donation helps ensure that all music professionals, across genres and professions, don't have to choose between a life in music and life-sustaining care,” the post read. “Thank you Taylor for supporting our mission! We protect the family. 🫶,” the post concluded.

Taylor’s holiday donations reflect her long-standing pattern of giving. Recently, in her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, she revealed that she gave increased bonuses to her Eras Tour crew after the tour grossed over $2 billion (around ₱116 billion), highlighting her commitment to rewarding those who work behind the scenes. “Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me,” she said in episode 2. “If the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus. And these people just worked so hard and they’re the best at what they do.” Reports by PEOPLE in December 2024 said Taylor distributed $197 million (around ₱11.43 billion) in bonuses over two years to her tour workforce in addition to their regular salaries. Earlier reports say she had also given substantial bonuses to truck drivers during the U.S. leg of the tour, further showing her commitment to supporting those who help bring her performances to life.
