SB19 joins Texas K-pop festival headlined by Jay Park, The Rose

July 24 ------ P-pop group SB19 is set to perform in the first Texas leg of the KPOPWORLD Festival & Worldwide Dance Competition taking place this October.

The event organized by Korean media outlet KPOPWORLD is heading to San Antonio, United States for the very first time, with the state of Texas just second to California for the country's growing K-pop fan base. Activities will begin with a Dance Championship on October 28 and 29 featuring 32 teams from 29 countries. Winners will receive championship titles, cash prizes, trophies, and the chance to perform on the festival main stage.

Coinciding with the Dance Championship until the event ends on October 31, Halloween, is the International Vendor Village that will have Korean products, exclusive merchandise, collectibles, and interactive fan zones. Highlighting the event on October 30 and 31 at the Alamodome is the festival proper topbilled by rappers Jay Park and Jessi, rock band The Rose, and SB19 — the only non-Korean act so far.

Former Monsta X member Wonho, WJSN's Dayoung, ARTMS, Cravity, Xdinary Heroes, Heyoon, and Dean & Tabber are also in the line-up with more performers to be announced. The KPOPWORLD Festival & Worldwide Dance Competition is the latest international stage SB19 will perform on after Lollapalooza later this month and Japan's Summer Sonic in August, which will also feature fellow P-pop group BINI.
