SB19, Cup of Joe and BGYO to represent PH at Japanese music fest

February 19 ------ Filipino acts SB19, Cup of Joe, and BGYO are set to bring Original Pilipino Music (OPM) to Japan as part of the upcoming D.U.N.K. Showcase at K-Arena Yokohama, scheduled from March 13 to 15.


Day 1 (March 13) will see Cup of Joe representing the Philippines alongside global acts such as INI, Cortis, s**t kingz, Sky-Hi, Da Pump, and Hana, with a special dance collaboration artist and opening act Cirra.


Day 2 (March 14) will feature BGYO performing with Ayumu Imazu, INI, ShowMinorSavage, Sky-Hi, D.U.N.K. x D.League selected performers, BUS because of you i shine (Thailand), Mazzel, and One N’ Only, with LDH Scream as the opening act.


Day 3 (March 15) will close with SB19 sharing the stage with Endrecheri, Sky-Hi, Starglow, Da-Ice And Be: First, with BMSG trainees serving as the opening act.


Right after the announcement, BGYO posted on social media, “We’re beyond thrilled to announce that we’ll be performing at the D.U.N.K. Showcase at K-Arena Yokohama on March 14, 2026. See you there!” Cup of Joe vocalist Gian Bernardino wrote on X, “we’re going to japaaaan!!! opm represent.”


The live showcase is preceded by the “D.U.N.K.” television series, which serves as a prologue to the festival. The program features several artists from the event’s lineup, focusing on variety-style content and interviews. By documenting the interactions and evolving relationships between performers from different talent agencies, the show sets the stage for the collaborative spirit of the upcoming live performances.
