SB19, BINI, HORI7ON, BGYO, Maki earn nods at Brazil’s BreakTudo Awards

September 11 ------ The star power of Filipino artists continues to attract the attention of international organizations, as SB19, BINI, HORI7ON, BGYO, and Maki received nominations at the 2025 edition of Brazil’s BreakTudo Awards. The nominees were released by the Brazil-based award-giving body and are composed of a mix of artists from different parts of the world.


SB19 — composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin — are nominated for International Men’s Group and International Video of the Year, the latter of which recognizes the music video of their single “Dam.” BINI — consisting of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha and Sheena — bagged the nods for International Women’s Group, International Collaboration of the Year for “Blink Twice (Dos Veces Remix)” with Belinda, and International Fandom of the Year.


Made up of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate, BGYO is nominated for Rising International Artist. Meanwhile, HORI7ON’s “Cold” earned a Music by New International Artist nomination. The latter group is composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus. Maki, whose real name is Ralph William Datoon, is nominated under the Asian Artist category. The winners will be decided through votes at vote.breaktudoawards.com from Sept. 10 to Oct. 10.


SB19, BINI, and BGYO had a successful run at last year’s BreakTudo Awards, with the eight-member P-pop girl group winning the International Music Video and International Breakthrough Artist plums. The P-pop powerhouse bagged the International Male Group award, while the “All These Ladies” singers won the Song by New International Artist award for their single “Patintero.”
