SB19 and The Juans join forces for new 'Team Tayo' anthem

August 17 ------ Telecommunications giant Globe and its value-oriented brand, TM, have launched an inspiring musical endeavor, partnering with P-pop sensation SB19 and rock ensemble The Juans to create a spirited Filipino anthem. Titled "Team Tayo," the lively track encourages Filipinos to pursue their aspirations and find solace in their collective strength. This collaboration follows previous hits like "Push ang Pusuan" (2020) and "TM FunPasko" (2021), marking a musical tradition upheld by the two bands. With a resounding chorus of "Basta't team tayo," the song embodies the spirit of camaraderie.

Pia Gonzalez-Colby, Globe's Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted the single's significance in a statement: "Through this song, created alongside SB19 and The Juans, TM reaffirms its dedication to stand by fellow Filipinos in every situation." The Juans' lead singer, Carl Guevarra, revealed the motivation behind the song, saying, "Our aim was to spotlight the experiences of the everyday 'Juan,' connecting with their stories and offering our partnership. It's a song that resonates with real-life situations." The synergy between The Juans and SB19 has always been transformative, aimed at uplifting ordinary Filipinos. This shared purpose reflects TM's theme of unity and collaboration.

SB19's leader, Pablo Nase, emphasized the beauty of cooperative music-making. "Collaboration isn't easy, considering diverse creative perspectives. However, it's a maturing process that results in something remarkable. Diverse thoughts challenge us, prompting us to synthesize ideas and create a masterpiece," he explained. "Team Tayo" symbolizes TM's bold stride toward extending its services, encompassing both mobile and broadband through TMBayan Fiber WiFi. This broadband service, focused on communities, extends accessible and swift internet connectivity to Filipino households.

Beyond connectivity, TM offers cost-effective promos for both mobile and broadband services, along with tangible rewards and earning opportunities. Rounding up, Issa Guevarra-Cabreira, Globe's chief commercial officer, expressed "TM is more than just a service provider; it's a life partner for Filipinos, supporting them through life's highs and lows."
