July 29 ------ As seen on Netflix, GMA Network's newest historical drama is on no. 1 of the "Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines Today." "Pulang Araw" made its Netflix debut and became a trending topic on X.
The show traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi (David Licauco), and Eduardo (Alden Richards) before and during World War II.
The main antagonist of the series is Col. Yuta Saitoh, played by Dennis Trillo. He is a Japanese imperial army officer whose mission is to conquer the Philippines. "Pulang Araw" will have its television premiere on July 29.
