October 27 ------ PLDT was quick to get back on track with a 22-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-16 recovery win over Farm Fresh in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference at Ynares Center II in Montalban, Rizal. It was the High-Speed Hitters’ turn to deal with an erstwhile unbeaten team in its first loss just four days removed from their surprising first taste of defeat at the hands of import-less Cignal.
Savi Davison was brought back to life with 20 points and eight receptions. The Fil-Canadian ace made sure the two-time champions wasn't suffering back-to-back losses by leading PLDT’s third-set getaway where they led by as much as 12. “I think what tells a team is how they recover from a loss, so I’m just glad that we showed up today, I’m glad that we didn’t take anything for granted,” Davison said. “Point by point, we pushed the gap, so I’m just happy, especially against a team like that. They have a lot of good athletes, especially Helene [Rousseaux], so I’m just glad that we persevered and finished it.”
Also providing a steady support to the High-Speed Hitters offense was Russian spiker Anastasiia Bavykina who had 18 markers. Kim Fajardo then had the floor covered apart from her typical playmaking exploits with 21 excellent sets, 14 digs, and one point, as Majoy Baron had a strong 10-point game from the middle. The Foxies' dream three-game start was cut short, even with two of their aces racking up triple-doubles.
Belgian spiker Rousseaux posted 21 points, 11 digs, and 10 receptions, as newcomer Ces Molina dished out 10 points, 11 digs, and 13 receptions. Trisha Tubu, their leading scorer, added 12 markers. League-leading setter Alohi Robins-Hardy recorded 19 excellent sets, but Farm Fresh's 29 faults didn't help its cause.
