PJMCC Inducts Board of Trustees and Officers for 2025-2027

The Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council, Inc. (PJMCC) conducted its Induction Ceremony and Member's Luncheon on June 10, 2025 at Diamond Hotel in Ermita, Manila.
The event began with opening remarks from event emcee, Capt. Juanito G. Salvatierra Jr. who acknowledged the guests. This was followed by a heartfelt message from the outgoing president, Capt. Emmanuel L. Reigo. In his valedictory speech, Capt. Reigo recalled the organization's collective journey, highlighting resilience, recovery, and renewal. Despite the crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization remained strong, rebuilt with purpose, and emerged with a renewed sense of direction and unity—achievements made possible through the collective effort of everyone involved with PJMCC.
In appreciation of Capt. Reigio’s service as President of PJMCC for two terms, he was presented a token by incoming PJMCC President Mr. Marlon R. Roño

The Induction Ceremony commenced with the new Board of Trustees taking oath signifying the new leadership’s dedication in pursuit of the organization’s mission.
The guest speaker, Hon. Hans Leo J. Cacdac, Secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers, was introduced and delivered an inspirational message that resonated with the audience; highlighting the importance of dedication and service to Filipino seafarers. After, Hon. Cacdac was presented a token in appreciation of his presence in this momentous event.
The incoming president of PJMCC, Mr. Roño, then delivered his inspirational message, expressing optimism as the organization embarks on a new chapter. He proudly reported that PJMCC remains strong and united, with a diverse and committed membership of manning agencies dedicated to upholding the excellence of Filipino seafarers. Mr. Roño reaffirmed their collective mission to enhance the quality of life and careers of Filipino seafarers while continuing to meet the high expectations of their Japanese and international partners.
The event concluded with a photo opportunity, closing remarks from Capt. Salvatierra, and luncheon that provided time for fellowship among members and guests, celebrating the continuity and future of PJMCC.
