IMMAJ Hosts Special Luncheon for MAAP's ZEPHYREONS Class of 2026 Graduates

The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. (FINC) hosted a special luncheon on June 3, 2026, at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) in Mariveles, Bataan, to honor the 108 IMMAJ-sponsored midshipmen from the pioneering ZEPHYREONS Class of 2026.

The gathering brought together graduates, their families, sponsoring companies, and distinguished guests to celebrate this important milestone. The program featured the presentation of the IMMAJ-sponsored cadet graduates, followed by inspiring messages from IMMAJ Chairman Capt. Kiyotaka Aya and IMMAJ-PJMCC Training Committee Vice Chairman Capt. Juanito G. Salvatierra Jr.

Special recognition was given to three IMMAJ-sponsored graduates who earned Cum Laude honors:

• Juan Miguel Estoesta (Splash Philippines Inc.)

• Elijah Joseph M. Geronimo (NS United Marine Phils., Inc.)

• John Richard III Sibayan (Meiji Group)

The event concluded with closing remarks from Capt. Shohei Teranishi, Chief IMMAJ Representative in Manila, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them as they begin their maritime careers.
