Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes have split, says manager Lolit Solis

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, August 24 ------ Lolit also asks the public to stop dragging Yen Santos, Contis' 'A Faraway Land' co-star, into the issue. Celebrity couple Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes have broken up, the actor’s manager Lolit Solis said. In an Instagram post on Sunday, August 22, Solis said that romance between the two just fizzled out and that they "outgrew" their romance. “Walang [third] party sa hiwalayang Paolo Contis at LJ Reyes. It was a matter of na-outgrow na nila ang romance sa kanilang relasyon,” she said.

Solis emphasized that Contis and Reyes decided to end things amicably instead of straining their relationship, “Kesa naman humantong pa sa pag-aaway, mas gusto nila na maghiwalay ng maayos at dasal na mag-end as friends.” Break-up rumors started circulating on Thursday, August 19, when fans noticed that Contis removed all of Reyes’ photos from his Instagram account and had stopped following anyone on the platform. Meanwhile, Reyes is still following the actor on the platform and still has photos of them on her account.

Solit also asked fans to stop dragging Yen Santos, Contis' co-star in A Faraway Land, in the couple’s breakup. “Huwag na natin idamay pa si [Yen] Santos dahil may sarili siyang love story. Kaya hindi siya kasali sa love life nina Paolo at LJ.” Contis and Reyes have yet to publicly address the breakup. Contis and Reyes started dating in 2015. They welcomed their daughter, Summer, in January 2019.
