BINI makes US morning show debut on ‘Good Day New York’

June 4 ------ The nation’s girl group BINI brought their unique charm and energy to the "Good Day New York" stage in the US on. They’re currently on their first world tour and promoting their debut all-English album. During their interview, the girls shared their amazement at being on stage at Madison Square Garden Theater over the weekend. “Just hearing those words, it felt surreal and we felt our supporters, their love, we just felt it online and now we get to feel it in person. So we're just really grateful.” the group's leader Jhoanna said.
BINI Mikha shared how faltered they were seeing Filipinos supporting them during the world tour. “We had so much fun and we were able to see all the Filipinos here and seeing them very united. It's just very heartwarming and I am just very proud to be a Pinoy and everyone I'm sure are too,” she said.
When asked about the origin of their group name, Jhoanna explained that it came from the Filipino word “Binibini” which means young lady or young Filipina. “Oh, the name BINI comes from the Filipino word “Binibini”, which means young lady. And we hope to represent the modern Filipinas, and we are passionate for bringing the Filipino music to the world stage,” she added.
The girls can’t hold their excitement as they continue their world tour hoping to inspire and form more supporters all over the globe.
