Olivia Wilde fired Shia LaBeouf from 'Don’t Worry Darling'

December 31 ------ Olivia Wilde, actress and director of the upcoming film Don't Worry Darling, axed actor Shia LaBeouf from the film's cast in early 2020, according to US media reports. He was fired even before production began. According to a Variety report, Wilde's fired LaBeouf due to "poor behavior." A source also said that he "is not an easy guy to work with," as his "style clashed with the cast and crew."

It was also revealed that LaBeouf remained "off-putting" during the project, which ultimately went against Wilde's strict "zero asshole policy" and collaborative efforts. In September, it was reported that LaBeouf bowed out of the film due to "scheduling conflicts," which allowed Harry Styles to take his place, joining an all-star roster that includes Chris Pine, Florence Pugh, and Dakota Johnson.

On December 12, LaBeouf was sued by ex-girlfriend FKA twigs for alleged emotional, mental, and physical abuse during their year-long relationship. Shortly after, singer Sia threw her support behind FKA twigs, describing LaBeouf as a "pathological liar" and someone who “conned [her] into an adulterous relationship."
