Neri Naig gifts Chito Miranda with yacht for his birthday

February 8 ------ Neri Naig has surprised her husband, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, by giving him a new yacht for his birthday. The celebrity mom-entrepreneur gave fans a glimpse of their family’s new yacht on her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 7. The vessel features a bedroom, mini living room and restroom. “Happy birthday, baby ko! Surprise!” Naig told Miranda. “May maliit na kaming yate. Parang pinalaking speed boat lang, pero may bedroom, mini sala, at banyo.”

Naig then listed some of the things that she and Miranda plan to do with the new vessel, like going fishing and renting it out to others who might also want a trip to the sea. She also revealed that she and Miranda named the yacht Margarita, since they are yet to welcome a baby girl. “Anong name ng yate? Syempre, Margarita! Since hindi girl ang naging baby namin, dito na lang namin ipinangalan,” she quipped. “…Wala pa kaming jetski, pero balak ko na rin pag-ipunan. Next time muna, sagad na bulsa ko.”

Miranda received birthday greetings from fellow celebrities Angel Locsin, MJ Lastimosa and Loisa Andalio, among others. Naig and Miranda tied the knot in December 2014. They have two sons, Miggy and Cash.
