April 27 ------ Filipino singer Matty Juniosa has secured another Golden Buzzer from the judges of "Britain's Got Talent," sending him straight to the finals of the talent competition series' 19th season.
For the semi-finals round, the Idol Philippines alum delivered a rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On," earning a standing ovation from all four judges — Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI — as well as the live audience, as seen in a video uploaded Sunday on the program's official YouTube channel.
After the performance, Dixon commented, "You are just effortlessly sensational." "It just pours out of you so easily, those high notes are just so sweet, and it's just so lovely to sit back, relax, enjoy the show. That was a stellar, masterclass performance of how to deliver a Class A vocal," she added. When it was Holden's turn to give her feedback, she pressed the Golden Buzzer, securing Juniosa a place in the finals.
Earlier in the competition, Juniosa had already received a Golden Buzzer from Cowell, which sent him directly to the semi-finals. Juniosa is currently based in Glasgow, Scotland, where he works as a part-time waiter while also performing in the local theater scene.
