March 2 ------ Lella Ford and Caprice Cayetano were declared as the Kapamilya and Kapuso Big Winners at the recently concluded “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Collab 2.0,” the latest installment of the long-running reality show franchise. Their victory was the culmination of “Pinoy Big Brother’s” latest instalment on Saturday, Feb. 28, besting six other celebrity housemates from ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

Ford, daughter of actress-host Karla Estrada and younger sister of Daniel Padilla, sealed her win after garnering 53.63% of the votes. Cayetano, who emerged as a fan-favorite in the latest installment, was declared as one of the Big Winners after earning a whopping 61.78% in the voting tally.

The second big placers are Krystal Mejes (22.26%) and Heath Jornales (24.25%), while Joaquin Arce (16.95%) and Ashley Sarmiento (8.47%) finished third. Rounding up “PBB’s” Ultimate 8 are Miguel Vergara and Princess Aliyah, receiving 7.16% and 5.50% of the votes, respectively.

Compared to the first “PBB” collab, the latest installment didn’t feature the celebrity housemates formed into duos. Instead, the celebrity housemates were separated into groups depending on the weekly tasks and challenges.

The Ultimate 8 housemates were chosen after Big Brother’s “Ultim8 Ball Hunt” and “Final Task” challenges. “PBB: Collab 2.0” is the second collaboration of ABS-CBN and GMA, bringing together celebrity housemates from their respective homegrown agencies in hopes of a renewed chance at superstardom.
