MANILA, Philippines, October 28 ------ Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo is the newest Filipina actress to be immortalized in wax at the world-renowned Madame Tussauds Museum in Hong Kong. Kathryn’s wax figure will be permanently displayed at the iconic museum’s Hong Kong branch, where the actress filmed “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” one of the highest-grossing Filipino movies of all time.

The 28-year-old star is also the youngest Filipino celebrity to receive a wax figure, joining the growing roster of Filipino icons immortalized in the museum, including Anne Curtis, Lea Salonga, Manny Pacquiao, Catriona Gray, and Pia Wurtzbach.

Following the announcement, Kathryn shared her excitement and behind-the-scenes footage from her wax figure’s creation process. “The ‘Kath’ is finally out of the bag! So excited to finally share this with everyone. Thank you, Madame Tussauds HK, for this huge honor,” Kathryn wrote in her post.

Her mother, Min Bernardo, also expressed her pride for her daughter in a heartfelt Instagram post. “My heart is bursting with pride and joy! Seeing my daughter chosen to have her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds feels so surreal. As a mom, nothing compares to witnessing her dreams turn into reality — the long days, quiet prayers, and all the hard work leading to this beautiful moment,” she wrote. “I’m beyond grateful and proud of the woman she’s become — humble, passionate, and full of heart. Congratulations, my anak, you truly deserve this honor. Mama will always be your number one fan.”

Kathryn’s wax figure is scheduled to be unveiled in 2026.
