Joshua Garcia's blockbuster films take over Cinema One

June 9 ------ "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" star Joshua Garcia returns to the small screen as Cinema One features some of his most memorable films in Blockbuster Sundays this June. Catch his popular team-up with Julia Barretto every Sunday at 7 p.m., with "Vince & Kath & James" on June 15, "I Love You, Hater" on June 22, and the action-packed "Block Z" on June 29.
Adding to the star power this month is "Only We Know" lead Dingdong Dantes, who takes center stage in a month-long movie marathon every Saturday at 7 p.m. See him as the hopeless romantic Wacky in "She's The One" (June 7), a devoted father in "One More Try" (June 14), the witty Johnson in "Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme" (June 21), and a conflicted husband in "The Unmarried Wife" (June 28).
In celebration of Father's Day, Cinema One presents a special tribute on June 16 (Sunday), highlighting films that capture the essence of familial love. Featured titles include Vice Ganda and Coco Martin's "The Super Parental Guardians," Richard Gomez's "Three Words to Forever," Ronaldo Valdez's "Seven Sundays," Christopher De Leon's "Kung Mawawala Ka Pa," Dolphy's "Home Along da Riles da Movie," and more.
Rounding out the month is a vibrant lineup of local queer films for Pride Month with the Rainbow Festival on June 29 (Saturday).
