Heaven Peralejo addresses issue she asked P100,000 ‘ayuda’ from Pacquiao family

September 15 ------ Heaven Peralejo broke her silence on social media days after she was accused of asking money from the family of her ex-boyfriend, Jimuel Pacquiao. Last Sunday, September 13, entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis took to Instagram to share her reaction to a Fashion Pulis blind item allegedly claiming that Heaven Peralejo asked 100,000 pesos from the Pacquiao family as “ayuda.”

Hours later, Lolit shared another post saying talent manager Ogie Diaz claimed it’s impossible for Heaven to ask money from the Pacquiao family as the former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate is financially capable to support her own needs.

Responding to the accusations thrown at her, Heaven addressed the issue with a post on her Instagram stories to put an end to the issue once and for all. “The past few weeks have redefined the public’s impression of me. It was hurtful and I needed some time to think it through,” she began. The Kapamilya actress went on: “I’ll get straight to the point. I didn’t ask anyone for money. I am beyond grateful that I am blessed with opportunities to earn an honest living. Whatever I have now is a product of my hard work and not extracted from anyone’s pockets. Thanking the Pacquiao family for coming to her defense, she continued: “Thank you to Jim and his family. I appreciate your efforts to stand with me. As well as to my family, friends, and supporters, thank you for always looking after me. I hope we can all move forward from this issue.

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old son of Senator Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao — Jimuel — hit back at Lolit Solis as well as gossip website Fashion Pulis in a post on his Instagram stories. “I would like to clarify that the issue posted by Lolit Solis and fashionpulis about Heaven is false. There was no money given and there was no communication,” he said. The new Star Magic talent then went on to defend Heaven and said the latter doesn’t deserve to keep getting bashed online. “We keep getting involved in these issues and I just want to clear things up. She is not the type of girl and we are in good terms so no need for all the bashing,” he stated. The YouTube personality’s post then spawned various reactions online, prompting the hashtag #ApologizeToHeaven trend on Twitter.
