November 20 ------ Filipino artists continue to make their mark globally as groups BINI and BGYO took home honors at Brazil's BreakTudo Awards. BINI took home the International Women's Group award, according to the winners' list posted on the award show's website. The eight-member act bested seven other nominees, including K-pop acts BLACKPINK, TWICE, ITZY, aespa, and BABYMONSTER.

The "Nation's Girl Group" also won International Collaboration of the Year for the Dos Veces remix of their single "Blink Twice" with Mexican singer Belinda.

Meanwhile, BGYO was named International Rising Artist, topping fellow nominees that include Addison Rae and ZEROBASEONE. The five-member Filipino boy band also performed at the event, delivering a rendition of their single "All These Ladies."

HORI7ON, the all-Filipino boy group that debuted in the K-pop scene, also won Music from a New International Artist for their single "Cold," released in March. While not an all-Filipino act, multinational girl group KATSEYE, whose members include Filipino artist Sophia Laforteza, bagged the International Breakthrough Artist award.

First held in 2016, the BreakTudo Awards honor artists in music, television, and digital content creation.
