Bianca 12th in Idaho tilt

MANILA, Philippines, September 1 ------ Filipina Olympian Bianca Pagdanganan delivered a strong finishing kick to secure a joint 12th finish in the Symetra Tour’s Circling Raven Championship Sunday in Worley, Idaho. Pagdanganan matched a career-best eight-under card of 64 on the final day to complete a fiery comeback in the 54-hole event, which saw her rise from 110th after the first round and 42nd in the second.

The power-hitting Pagdanganan finished at 11-under 205 – five shots behind winner Peiyun Chien of Taiwan who closed out with a 67 for 16-under 200. Demi Runas (66) of the US took runner-up honors at 15-under 201 while Bailey Tardy (64) and Gabby Lemieux (65) shared third at 202. After a horrendous opening 74, Pagdanganan fired a confidence-boosting 67 in Saturday’s second round. Continuing the charge, the ICTSI-backed ace produced a hot 33-31 final round highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 No. 10 off a seven-iron approach from 170 yards and a 16-foot putt.
