August 22 ------ As Belle Mariano marked her 14th year in the entertainment industry, she spoke about the importance of being humble, noting it as the “key to longevity.” “What I really learned the most is that humility is the key to longevity. Ayun ang mga natutunan ko sa mga taong nakatrabaho ko and the veteran actors I look up to. They’re all so humble. Ang galing nila makasama,” she said during her contract signing ceremony.
Mariano, who became emotional at some point during her contract renewal, said “growth” has always been important for her in her entertainment career. “There are times na mahirap, there are times na you’ll fall, and many times na paghihinaan ka ng loob, but you’ll rise above it and you’ll be stronger. I think those experiences molded me into who I am today,” she said. “Don’t be afraid to learn. Don’t think na magaling ka na, because if you think na magaling ka na, hindi ka na maggrow. There’s always room for growth in this industry,” she continued.
As the actress marked a new chapter in her journey, she expressed her hunger to “learn more” and do more. “Ang dami ko pang tatahakin. Ang dami ko pang gustong matutunan. I’ve never done anything na bida-kontrabida, horror, I won’t limit myself… I want to challenge myself,” she said. Among Mariano’s upcoming activities are a new album, an upcoming concert, and the film “Meet, Greet, Bye,” which also stars Piolo Pascual, JK Labajo, Joshua Garcia, and Maricel Soriano.
