March 12 ------ South Korean fandom platform Weverse teased earlier today, March 11, that two P-Pop groups are set to join the "super app" on March 12. On their official social media accounts, they gave fans some hints on who these two Filipino groups could possibly be.

Weverse was developed by HYBE and designed for direct interaction between artists and fans. Several South Korean groups and artists have hopped on the platform, giving fans their much-needed updates on their daily lives. “Making history and heating [up] many global online platforms, the two hottest P-POP groups are finally coming to Weverse,” the app shared in their caption.

In their post, Weverse uploaded silhouettes of what seemed to be BINI and SB19–– eight girls and five boys. They also shared some things that these P-Pop groups achieved, which fans have linked to the two groups. “The first-ever Filipino artist to enter the Spotify Global Top Artist Chart. The first-ever Southeast Asian artist to enter the Billboard Year-End Social 50 Top 10. Who are these incredible new additions to Weverse?” the caption added.

Fans expressed how excited they are for the official announcement coming from Weverse, as they can’t wait to see the P-Pop groups be on the South Korean platform. Other netizens shared that they have already downloaded the application and are just waiting for the subscription plan for their favorite groups. “No, because the ONLY reason na hindi dinidelete and Weverse ko is because of TREASURE and now SB19 na rin aaaaa,” a fan shared. “Grabe magagamit ko na ulit Weverse ko,” another fan expressed. “Balita ko magagaling daw yan sila eh,” a fan added.
