MANILA, Philippines, June 19 ------ Anthony told The STAR that he had learned many lessons from his past experiences. “But what’s more important is to be a good person because everything will follow,” he reiterated. He added that he is “OK now” and “happy.”
“Everything’s going well. I’m blessed right now because andaming blessings na pumapasok pa rin. I think I’m on a good path because I did a project in the US (‘Nurse the Dead’), and I have an upcoming film. Maraming aabangan, of course.” “But happy lang ako sa mga susunod ko pang tatahakin sa buhay. Ganun lang naman kasi, sabay lang ako sa wave. Yun naman importante, dapat ini-enjoy mo lang yung process na ganun. Happy naman po,” he shared.
The supernatural comedy-drama series “Nurse the Dead” tells the story of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and nurses, Anthony said. “We will show the grief, loneliness and family themes in the series. It highlights the sacrifices of our Filipino nurses who work away from their families.” He also expressed appreciation for the veteran co-actors he worked with, including Princess Punzalan, Ruby Rodriguez, and other cast members. “I’ve learned a lot from them, especially when it comes to (comedic) timing.”
Anthony and direk Lester previously collaborated on the action-packed series “Incognito.” Asked about updates on the second season of “Incognito,” the director said, “My team and I are working very, very hard for the next season to happen. Right now, there’s no finality yet because marami kasing moving parts.” “The cast of ‘Incognito’ are A-listers. All of them are busy with their respective careers. I’m still talking and negotiating with ABS-CBN for it to happen and still hoping that it will happen soon. We are working very hard, all of us — from ABS-CBN to the producers of Star Creatives to the management of all of these cast members. Still, we’re trying to make it happen,” he added.
The cast of the first season included Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Kaila Estrada, Ian Veneracion, and Daniel Padilla. Meanwhile, Anthony shared that his favorite ramen flavor is spicy. “Just like in our lives, lahat ng pinagdadaanan natin, ganun din ako sa buhay ko may excitement pa rin. I need that ‘spice’ in my life,” he said, likening the spicy flavor to the excitement and challenges he experiences in life.
The quirky short film “World of Bowls” reminds viewers that “even on the toughest days, a comforting bowl of ramen can make things feel lighter and better,” according to the media release. The film reflects the “brand mission of quality ramen bringing comfort across the country without the premium price tag or the premium pretense,” direk Lester remarked. “It reflects Kyu Kyu Ramen 99’s mission of providing world-class quality food that is affordable to everyone by showing how accessible it truly is, making authentic Japanese ramen feel within reach and easy to enjoy,” he added.
