September 14 ------ Zia Dantes, daughter of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes; Tali Sotto, daughter of Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto; and Scarlet Snow Belo, daughter of Hayden Kho and Vicky Belo, are set to showcase their vocals in an upcoming concert in November.

RMA Studio Academy founder Jade Riccio named the three celebrity daughters as some of the anticipated performers in the music school’s third annual concert, dubbed “That’s Amore: A Night at the Movies,” happening on Nov. 9 at Aliw Theatre. Aside from Zia, Tali and Scarlet Snow, other celebrity performers that concertgoers can expect include Michelle Dee, Maymay Entrata, Rhian Ramos, Ina Raymundo, Pepe Herrera, Vivoree Esclito, Imogen, and Amari Sotto, among others.

When asked about Zia, Riccio recalled the time the celebrity daughter went viral for her rendition of Andra Day’s “Rise Up” at the studio’s concert last year. “She started with a very beautiful voice already. She sounds very international. She has a certain vocal quality or vocal temperament. She’s a very hardworking student,” Riccio told reporters on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Riccio added that Zia’s mother has also done lessons with her, saying, “I’m not sure if she’s going to be saying that in public. She has a nice voice; it can be trained.” The founder noted that Rivera fully supports Zia and is always present during her daughter’s singing lessons. “Si sir Dingdong pa minsan-minsan nagpupunta rin,” she added.

As for Tali, Riccio noted that she is a fast learner. “Tali is very hardworking….She picks up so fast. She has the mind of a sponge. She gets the vibrato voice right away in our first session,” said the trainer, adding that Pauleen “is always there during Tali’s sessions.”

Riccio shared that the audience can expect a long concert, around 2 ½ hours, as the academy’s students are set to perform around 26 songs from movies in the 1960s up to the present. The songs will be rendered solo, duet, trio or as a group. Riccio herself will have a duet with seasoned singer Jose Marie Chan.
