Yeng Constantino to mark 20th anniversary with Big Dome concert

MANILA, April 5 ------ OPM singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino is marking her 20th year in the music industry with a major concert this August at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

On social media, Constantino announced that her anniversary concert, billed as "Biyaheng Bente," is happening on August 28. It will be directed by John Prats.

"20 years… at nandito pa rin tayo, magkakasama. Sa bawat kantang niyakap ninyo sa lungkot at saya, sa bawat liriko na ginawa ninyong bahagi ng inyong kuwento, lubos po akong nagpapasalamat! Hindi lang ito concert. Reunion ito ng mga pusong pinagbuklod ng musika. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit tumagal ako ng 20 years sa industriyang ito. 🥹 Sabayan niyo po akong ipagdiwang ito! 🥰," Constantino captioned her post.

Known for hits like "Chinito," "Ikaw," and "Hawak Kamay," the Pop Rock Royalty started her entertainment career after winning ABS-CBN's talent show "Pinoy Dream Academy" in 2006.

In 2007, she released her debut single "Salamat." Aside from music, Constantino also ventured into acting. In 2013, she made her movie debut in "Shift." She also starred in "The Eternity Between Seconds" in 2018 and the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Write About Love."

In 2023, months after she was named global ambassadress of the Academy of Rock, Constantino acquired her catalog from ABS-CBN's music label Star Music.
