October 21 ------ "Making the impossible, possible." These were the words of Will Ashley as he marked a major career milestone with his first-ever solo concert held at the New Frontier Theater on Saturday, October 18.
In a post-concert message, Will expressed his gratitude to the team behind the show. "[Thank you] for making my dream solo concert come true. Maraming salamat po sa tiwala at paniniwala sa aking talento," he posted on his Instagram page. He also thanked his management team, the brands that supported the concert, and the special guests who joined him onstage, including Alden Richards, Eliza Maturan, Jay Joseph Roncesvalles, and Bianca de Vera.
Will end his message with a heartfelt note to his fans, saying: "I hope you guys enjoyed the concert! Hindi pa ito ang huli. Nag-uumpisa pa lang tayo. Maraming beses pa tayong magkikita sa big stage. I promise to do better every day, and I promise to be an inspiration to everyone. Kayo ang lakas ko. Maraming salamat po."
Will recently won as the 2nd Big Placer of the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, alongside his final duo Ralph de Leon. Aside from music, Will is set to star in Bar Boys: After School, the sequel to the 2017 film Bar Boys, as well as Love You So Bad with fellow PBB alumni Bianca De Vera and Dustin Yu, with both films being part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
In a recent Instagram post, the actor reflected on his journey as he stars in not just one, but two entries in this year's MMFF. "Isa lamang itong pangarap dati. Who would’ve thought na sa unang MMFF dalawa na malapit sa puso kong pelikula ang mapapasama dito! Patuloy po natin suportahan ang pelikulang Pilipino!!" he remarked. Will express gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout his career. "Maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal at suporta. Maraming salamat sa tiwalang ibininigay niyo sa akin. Mahal ko kayong lahat!!!" He said.
