Taylor Swift is first living artist to have 7 albums in Billboard 200 Top 40

MANILA, Philippines, March 31 ------ Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has seven albums in the Billboard 200's Top 40 at the same time, a first for any living artist.

In fact, this feat has only been achieved just once since the Billboard 200 first came about in August 1963, and that was by Whitney Houston a month after her death in 2012.

According to the Billboard 200 dated for April 1, the following Swift albums ranked in the Top 40: "Midnights" (No. 3), "Lover" (No. 13), "Folklore" (No. 14), "1989" (No. 19), "Red (Taylor's Version)" (No. 22), "Reputation" (No. 26), and "Evermore" (No. 31). Additionally, two other Swift albums figured lower on the chart, "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" at No. 52 and "Speak Now" at No. 69; a third album, "Lover: Live From Paris," dropped from the chart after being at No.58 last month. Coincidentally enough, both the original and Taylor's Version of "Red" feature the hit single "22."

This groundbreaking record shortly follows the launch of Swift's "Eras" tour which is being promoted as a "career-spanning retrospective." At the tour's very first concert, Swift performed a setlist of over 40 songs within three hours. Several guest artists have joined in during the "Eras" tour's early run like Paramore, Haim and Phoebe Bridgers. The tour will continue until August 9.
