Taylor Swift breaks Madonna's concert attendance record

March 23 ----- Taylor Swift recently broke Madonna’s long-held record for most attended concert by a female artist in US history.

Swift made the record-breaking feat last March 17 in Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. Swift's 69,213 first show attendees broke Madonna's 62,986 at Anaheim Stadium back in 1987.

The first show of Swift's “The Eras Tour” featured a 44-song set list that highlighted her 17-year-long career. It lasted for 3 hours and 15 minutes. The set covered songs from her very first album “Taylor Swift” to her latest “Midnights” record. It was also reported that Swift’s pre-sale ticket sales for the 2023 tour “sold more than 2.4 million tickets” and that it shattered “the previous record for the most concert tickets ever sold in a single day by one artist.”
