Sue Ramirez, Sam Concepcion, Gabby Padilla earn nods at 15th Gawad Buhay awards

June 16 ------ Sue Ramirez, Sam Concepcion, and Gabby Padilla are among the theater actors recognized for their undeniable presence onstage, as they were nominated in their respective categories at the 15th Gawad Buhay Awards. Gawad Buhay Awards is an annual event that is considered the highest award-giving honor for performing arts in the Philippines.

With a video announcement by Kakki Teodoro and Phil Palmos, Philstage announced the nominees on Saturday, June 14, which were selected from a pool of 143 citations given to 15 eligible stage productions between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

Ramirez and Concepcion were nominated for Female Lead Performance in a Musical and Male Lead Performance in a Musical, respectively. On the other hand, Padilla earned two nominations for Female Featured Performance in a Play and Female Lead Performance in a Musical.
